OK I've decided. This Saturday at 2 PM EDT I'll be running a *free* "#OpenBSD ports: the basics" workshop on Twitch.tv.
Participation is encouraged. To participate, install OpenBSD -current on a machine and set up a ports tree according to https://www.openbsd.org/faq/ports/ports.html
My Twitch username is NewAstroCity, so that's where I'll be broadcasting.
Yes, it will be recorded and posted on YouTube.
Feel free to boost.
And if this workshop is successful, I'll do more. So you want more, please show up and participate
@bcallah
Eek that’s 2am, I think I will be watching the YouTube recording!
@adams Sorry. That's unfortunately gonna happen for some people. I live in NY.
@bcallah But Dr., It hurts when I touch the ports tree.
@brynet Sometimes a little pain is good for you.
@bcallah yay! \o/
@kurtm get your own hobby!

@jkasper Yes it'll start around 2PM EDT, so a little over an hour from now.
We're gonna get started in about an hour. Find me at https://www.twitch.tv/NewAstroCity
And if you think you can't code, I definitely want you here. It's a great introduction to coding and to open source participation.
@bcallah damn, I am out. Will the stream be off line?
@anthk Yes it will be uploaded to YouTube. I'll announce when I've done that.
Come join now. Sadly, you'll need a Twitch account to chat for today. But come even just to follow along.
Is Twitch free and open source?
@hhardy01 I mean, you only need a web browser to watch. See my other toot for a link to the VOD.
@bcallah It was great workshop. Thanks! 😺
I think your Twitch chat broke at some point though, because we were chatting in there.
@nulani Yeah it did; idk what happened.
This Saturday being August 11!
