*facepalm* Git Bash was mangling my /entry, /console linker flags the whole time!
Did cppcheck fall off the HardenedBSD stable 11 repository, or was it never there in the first place?

Nostalgia from watching a current-year System76 unboxing video. WiFi broke.
PDF’s are the worst, not because of their inability to reflow text, but because none of the PDF-size LCD tablets handle glare from sunlight. It’s either ePUB’s on e-ink displays, or stay inside :/
The rumors are true: the new MacBook Pro keyboard is so crappy that even the demo units in my local Apple Store have faulty Z keys! This fanboy is considering switching to System76.
Wellp, rsync x86 Windows installation media is hosted by a broken Wayback Machine link to a dead link, so my Windows x86 Vagrant boxes no longer build. Yay, entropy.
How stable are kernel interrupt values, write/exit, and so on at the assembler level, for Linux and other operating systems? If an assembler developer wishes to promote forward compatibility with OS updates, should they link to the C library for these calls? I just noticed how MINIX and Haiku seem to have broken their lower-than-C ABI in recent versions.
PSA for assembler developers working with MINIX: The ABI has changed, breaking most online tutorials. Either trawl through the MINIX source on GitHub (thar be dragons), or check out how https://github.com/mcandre/vagrant-minix-gas/tree/master/test does it!
Apple broke the packer json config with the latest High Sierra install UI.. Do I really want to bother fixing my virtual machines for this?
Swift is officially amateur hour: Official tarball breaks the Ubuntu clang package, official dox omit libcurl3 dependency.
Anyone know how to foreground the terminal in 9front using only keyboard keys? So’s I can build a 9front Vagrant box with packer..
Xcode is a pain to install in macOS; swiftc silently fails in Ubuntu, and there is no official Swift Windows installer. Do I want to bother setting up cross compiler buildbots for such a poorly supported language?
(hacks some more...)
a public service announcement from my blistered heels: don’t cheap out on interview shoes!
Lol when crypto devs move the problem of storage, increasing complexity and opacity of operations. I’m looking at you, Bell Labs, for requiring ops to understand not only netssh, not only factotum, but also secstore 😷
Crying how 5G sells but ubiquitous Edge coverage doesn’t~~
Got my Plan 9 vbox to get DNS from DHCP reliably working on boot. Now to figure out why openssh won’t install with contrib 🦉
plan 9 is a *chore* to install, i tell you what
How is it constitutional for the NFL to restrict how players “respect” the national anthem?
tonixxx now tested with RHEL7 AKA glibc 2.17 targets. It takes a bit more work to provision dev tools for RHEL compared to more shiny, bleeding edge Linux distros (vera++ had to be compiled from source). But as a proof of concept it’s working well!
