Rougelike idea
- Lovecraft setting
- Play as cultist or investigator
- Wake an old one / prevent one from waking up depending on class
Shared server play aspect (play over ssh) features:
- cultists can leave messages for each other to warn of dangers/point to treasures - investigators can read them depending on their occult stat
- investigators can leave messages to other of their class - cultists can read depending on their crypto skill

Why not play as an Old One? 👾
- both can leave misleading messages for each other.
- players starts with sanity, various actions reduce it - if a player goes mad the run is over but the player characte remains in the dungeons under the control of the ancient ones
- more insane events happen the closer it is to waking an old one
- investigators collapse corridors, lay down traps and prevent rituals from happening
- cultits perform rituals & sacrifices (ultimate being self sacrifice to the sleeping ones)
