@mwlucas Blobs are google's old emoji set (which is why the more niche fan-made ones like the molotov often stand out).
Flan/puddings/mousse are a video game monster I thought they probably ripped off for the blobs: magic-using pudding, basically.
Mine actually started out as "goos" and came from a set of generic shapes I'd tried out, so the name's more of a fun reference. But I colored them to match my favorite one (also scalloped), a little extra fun for anyone who played. :)

The old Unix command line command to read mail is "rm". It has the option -rf for reading mail really fast.
So we have blobs, and flans. What do these mean? Are they color schemes or something?
