@mwlucas I had an Foundry FastIron II switch once that would not let you aggregate networks that had prefix 192.168..  i.e you could not create a route 192.168.10.0/23 ... Tech support told me that it was because they were Class C addresses.

@mwlucas I'm sure I mentioned this before but I remember having discussions with a fellow educator two years ago when I saw him asking exam questions about classful networking.

This was the first year I had complete control over the networking class at our university, and it's the first year in which classes are no longer treated.
