I remember my first confrontation with postfix' configuration files. It put me off instantly. Didn't trust myself to tame that server. Then I found OpenSMTPD on its native OS, and I've never ran anything else on my servers ever again.
Upgraded my mail server to OpenBSD-current. That new syntax makes so much sense.
A good way to ruin my mood is to let me work in the C# ecosystem for 5 minutes.

I love C++ and its novel size compiler errors.
My CMake project will now build under Windows. The size of the CMakeLists.txt file doubled. Most of the lines are found between if(MSVC) and endif()
This is incredible. We got new printers at work. Every time I send a job to the printer, my web browsers opens a page where I can change printing options. Who came up with this and why?

Does anyone have experience with CMake under Windows? Trying to get a composite project (shared library and dependent application) to compile and run from within Visual Studio 2017
Windows is activated! Visual Studio is registered. The porting can commence... I have a feeling will not be a very pleasant experience
