Developers:
Friend to friend: When you make a release please take a few minutes to make a human-readable changelog of what has changed since the last release?
Your commit-messages are not a changelog.
Let me re-iterate:
Your commit-messages are _not_ a changelog.
A changelog allows me to follow what you were thinking between releases.
A commit log shows me your keystrokes between releases.
I need to know what you were thinking.
Thank you.
Anyone know of a good Mastodon iOS client with features like what Tweetdeck supports for Twitter? (Timed mute, keeping track of how much I read, offline support, note per users etc)
@mwlucas But your use-case is editing text. ED IS THE STANDARD TEXT EDITOR. THE SO-CALLED “VISUAL” EDITORS HAVE BEEN PLACED HERE BY ED TO TEMPT THE FAITHLESS. DO NOT GIVE IN!!! THE MIGHTY ED HAS SPOKEN!!!
Hello #Introduction World.
FreeBSD'er by heart, if less by practice at the moment due to lack of time (got kids).
Dayjob is as an SRE keeping fluffy stuff running (AKA the white thing in the sky). Currently codes in meetings, markdown and email. Python when it goes wild.
Spend some of my spare time playing with microcontrollers and sensors (using Simba).
